Conveniently located just off route 100 between Stowe, Sugarbush, and Mad River Glen in a private forest setting, the Lodge consists of three separate units, the Loft , the Terraces, and the Sugarhouse. Located five miles from Ben & Jerry’s headquarters; close to Stowe, Sugarbush, Heady Topper, and Lawson’s; and three miles from Amtrak and Interstate 89, the Lodge is easy to get to and easy to visit.
The Terraces unit sleeps six in two bedrooms with two full baths, kitchenette, dining area, patio, and a 300 square foot living room. With 12-foot ceilings, knotty pine walls, stone fireplace, and big windows overlooking the forest, you find yourself in an old-fashioned ski lodge, not in a condo.
The Loft unit sleeps six in two open loft bedrooms and a cozy library. It includes a full kitchen, two full baths, 800 square foot living-dining area, 18-foot ceilings, huge stone fireplace and cantilevered deck.
The Sugarhouse unit sleeps two in a small studio apartment upstairs in the sugarhouse building. It includes a bath, a kitchenette, and a small roof deck.
The Lodge was completely renovated in 2014, and offers hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on premises, with equipment available. High-speed internet, automatic heat, air-conditioning, a Level 2, 32 amp charger for electric vehicles, and dry firewood are provided. No smoking, no pets. Children welcome. Friendly, occasionally intelligent, and sometimes helpful owners often live in the Loft unit.
